    Customer Decision Tree is a powerful tool in Q Shelf (one of the Quantium products in FMCG) that uses data science to create a visual hierarchy of product attributes that drives customers’ purchasing behaviour.

    Project Scope

    ASDA - a client in the UK has recently adopted this tool to their business hence the involvement of the UX team was to build an up-to-date and user-experience centred design that is aligned to their brand identity.

    Add NPD, an extension of the project, was a new function (from the AU version) introduced to ASDA Customer Decision Tree, which involves the UX process of product optimising and building.

    My involvement in this project

    • Collaborating with project manager, business analyst and engineers in defining the project requirements and discussing solutions;

    • Building a UX roadmap with sprints planning:

    • UX research- ideation, mood board, internal feedback and interviews;

    • UX UI design- creating sketches and wireframes, lofi and hifi mocks;

    • Building interactive prototypes;

    • Dev handover- creating specifications for engineers

    • Carrying out User Acceptance Test

  • Co-designer (UX) | 3 months

    Taking the world-class data tool to refinement stage - 2.0. Optimising the initial launched tool while adding new functionalities and back-porting designs to the AU version Quantium Shelf.

  • Co-designer (UX) | 3 months

    Optimising the current ASDA Customer Insights Portal using up-to-date design elements with ample user research to fill in the gap of users pain points and challenges while using the portal.

    Back-porting designs from the ASDA UK version to the AU Quantium portal.
