This collection encapsulates the surrounding of the virtual world I have been exploring in a social stimulation videogames—Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp—in this period of isolation, which laid the foundation of my research into virtual world and escapism. Moschino, an Italian luxury fashion house, is the chosen client for this project. Its design aesthetics are often playful, innovative and eccentric, which correspond to the design nature of the videogame Animal Crossing and established the design style of this collection. Subjects that can be seen widely in the fantasy world like butterfly, koi fish, fruits and cherry blossoms are used as motifs in the designs. This collection delivers a hint of the fantasy world yet presenting realistic elements, which correlates with the construction of virtual simulation games; fake yet real.
